GSEB HSC Science Result 2024 Declared On gseb.org, 82.45% Students Pass

GSEB HSC Science Result 2024 is now available on the official website at gseb.org.

The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board, GSEB has announced the GSEB HSC Result 2024 today, May 3, 2024. Students can check their results by entering their login credentials, such as roll number and other details. Banchhanidhi Pani, Chairman of Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB) said, "Gujarat State Education Board results declared at 9 am today. This year's results are very good. We have a result of 82.45% this time which is 17-18% more than the last time...Last time 27 schools had a 100% result, this time 127 schools registered the same...1034 students registered A1 grade and 8983 students registered A2 grade..."

The GSEB conducted the class 12 examination from March 11 to March 26, 2024. Over 4 lakh students participated in the examination. Students are required to score a minimum of 33% marks to pass the Gujarat Board HSC exam 2024. Last year, the GSEB HSC result was declared on May 2, 2023. The pass percentage for girls in the GSEB HSC examination was 80.39%, and for boys, it was 67.03%.

Students can follow the below-given steps to check the GSEB HSC Result 2024:

Step 1: Visit the official website of GSEB at gseb.org.

Step 2: On the homepage, navigate for the link that reads ‘GSEB HSC Result 2024’.

Step 3: Then click on the HSC Science result link activated on the homepage.

Step 4: Enter your roll number and other required details.

Step 5: Click on ‘Submit’.

Step 6: The GSEB class 12th result will be displayed on your screen.

Step 7: Download the result for your future reference.

GSEB HSC Result 2024: Grading System

GSEB follows a grading system in which if a student scores marks between 91 and 100 will be awarded an A1 grade and 10 points. If a student is between 81 and 90, he/she will be awarded an A2 grade and 9 points. The grades range from A1 to D, with different points for each. 

  • A1: 91-100 Marks
  • A2: 81-90 Marks
  • B1: 71-80 Marks
  • B2: 61-70 Marks
  • C1: 51-60 Marks
  • C2: 41-50 Marks
  • D: 33-40 Marks

GSEB HSC Past Years Statistics

Last year, the overall pass percentage for the GSEB HSC Science stream stood at 72.02%. In the year 2022, 1,06,347 students participated in the GSEB HSC Science stream examination, out of which 68,681 successfully passed. Boys achieved a pass rate of 72%, while girls achieved a slightly higher pass rate of 72.05%.
