The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has announced the results for the Assistant Audit Officer (AAO) main written exam. Out of the candidates who participated in the written test, 363 have qualified. Candidates can check their results on the official website at bpsc.bih.nic.in. The BPSC conducted the Assistant Audit Officer's main written competitive examination in Patna's various exam centers from November 5 to November 7, 2022. The commission has now called upon these successful candidates to proceed to the interview round, which is the next step in the selection process.

Candidates can check the result by following these simple steps:

Step 1:  Visit the official website of BPSC at bpsc.bih.nic.in.

Step 2: On the homepage, click on the 'Results: Assistant Audit Officer Main (Written) Competitive Examination.' link.

Step 3: A pdf file will be displayed on the screen.

Step 4: Check your roll number in the list.

Step 5: If your roll number is present in the list, it means you are shortlisted for the interview round.

Step 6: You can download the pdf file for future reference.

The result may be modified due to any technical or typing mistake. Out of the qualified candidates, the distribution across categories is as follows: 137 under the unreserved category, 37 under the economically weaker section, 55 under Scheduled Caste (SC), 5 under Scheduled Tribe (ST), 69 under the extremely backward class, 50 under the backward class and 10 under backward class women.

Additionally, based on disability, 5 visually handicapped (VI), 3 deaf-mute disabled (DD), 3 locomotor handicapped (OH), and 1 mentally handicapped/multiple handicapped (MD) candidates were declared successful under horizontal reservation. Furthermore, 8 candidates, grandchildren of former freedom fighters of Bihar, have been declared successful, with 7 based on their respective category's merit and 1 through horizontal reservation.
