'Paataal Me Bhi Ja kar Hisaab...' PM Modi's Stern Warning To Paper Leak 'Mafia' In Rajasthan

In his address, PM Modi further said that the BJP will dive into the roots of the injustice done to the youth of Rajasthan.

Addressing a public gathering in Rajasthan’s Chittorgarh today, PM Modi said that the perpetrators and the gang behind the paper leak incidents in various Rajasthan recruitment and competitive exams, won’t be spared, and they will be held accountable and punished, even if they hide in ‘Paataal.’ "I want to guarantee the youth of Rajasthan that the paper leak mafia will be held accountable and punished. Paper leak mafia ka paataal mein bhi jakar hisab kiya jaega," PM Modi said. 

Referring to the paper leak incidents in Rajasthan, the prime minister further said that the BJP will dive into the roots of the injustice done to the youth of the state. PM Modi’s remarks pointed at the RPSC paper leak case which surfaced in December last year. The question paper RPSC (Rajasthan Public Service Commision) Grade-2 Teacher Recruitment Exam was circulated on social media before the conduct of the exam on December 24, 2022, following which the police and state authorities swung into action.

After the paper leak surfaced, police conducted raids at several places across Rajasthan, arresting over 55 people. 37 candidates were also arrested in the RPSC paper leak case. The recruitment exam was eventually cancelled by Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot. Within days of the investigation, the main accused in the RPSC paper leak Bhupendra Saran was arrested from Bangalore and was brought to Udaipur. The escalation of the Rajasthan paper leak matter also witnessed heated exchanges from the BJP opposition and the ruling Congress party in Rajasthan. 

Notably, PM Modi visited Rajasthan today where he addressed a public gathering in Chittorgarh. During the event, the prime minister also inaugurated projects worth Rs 7,000 in the state. The key projects inaugurated include the Mehsana-Bathinda-Gurdaspur gas pipeline, built at a cost of ₹4,500, and the Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited's (HPCL) LPG plant in Abu Road which aims at distributing 86 lakh cylinders per annum, as reported by PTI.
