Online Classes Can Affect Children's Eyes, More Harmful Than Smartphones

Online Education: Under the online education system, children have to spend most of their time in front of a smartphone or a laptop computer.

New Delhi: The Coronavirus pandemic has created havoc all over the world. New cases of Covid-19 are coming up every day. At the same time, many changes have also been seen due to Corona. Under these changes, a big change is also being seen in the education sector. Indeed, online education has been boosted since the Covid-19. Although doctors are saying that its disadvantages can also be seen in the coming days.

Under this online education system, children have to spend most of their time in front of a smartphone or a laptop computer. Doctors say that this can also cause myopia (nearsightedness) in children in the coming days. This affects the eyesight of the children. Doctors say that smartphones are easily available, due to which they are used more for online classes.

More damage due to smartphones

Doctors say smartphones can have more effects on eyesight, which can reduce vision. Smartphones should not be used for online classes. However, buying expensive gadgets is not possible for everyone. Doctors say the use of smartphones for online education causes a lot of damage.

Doctors believe that the use of large screens, laptops or computers, is more accurate for online studies. If possible, TV can also be connected for work or for studies. According to doctors, myopia (nearsightedness) can occur due to reasons like keeping the screen close to the eyes, low light in the room, small font, small screen, sitting incorrectly.
