The Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) will close the registration window for the NVS Class 9, 11 Admissions 2024 tomorrow, October 31, 2023. Interested and eligible candidates who wish to apply for NVS Admission 2024 are advised to submit their registration cum application forms for admissions on the official website - navodaya.gov.in. As per the official schedule, the NVS will conduct the entrance test for NVS Admissions 2024 for lateral entry into Class 9 and Class 11, on February 10, 2024. 

Candidates may note that earlier, the Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti offered lateral entry admissions into Class 9 only. However from this year onwards, interested students will also be able to apply for lateral entry admissions for Navodaya Vidyalaya Class 9. 

Candidates will be shortlisted for NVS Lateral Entry Admissions 2024 based on their performance in the written test, against the vacant seats at the concerned levels in various Navodaya Vidyalayas across the country. The NVS Written Exam will be conducted in the offline mode, and the exam duration shall be of two hours and thirty minutes. 

To apply for lateral entry NVS Admissions 2024 in Class 9, applicants must be enrolled in Class 8 in the academic year 2023-24, at one of the district’s government-recognised schools in the district where the Navodaya Vidyalaya is located. 

For NVS Class 11 lateral entry admissions 2024, candidates must be enrolled in Class 10 in the academic year 2023-24  at one of the district’s government-recognised schools in the district where the Navodaya Vidyalaya is located. Moreover, applicants should also be aged between 15 to 17 years of age.

• Register online and generate User ID and Password
• Login and fill in the application form with all required details
• Upload relevant documents
• Pay the application fee and submit the form
• Download the application confirmation page for reference
