The National Testing Agency (NTA) has reopened the CUET UG 2023 Application Window. The latest moves for the testing agency comes in the wake of several requests from aspirants all around the country. The CUET UG 2023 Applications Window will be reopened from today, April 9, to April 11, 2023. Interested candidates who couldn’t submit their applications earlier, can do the same within the aforementioned time period. Online applications for the CUET UG 2023 are to be submitted on the official website - cuet.samarth.ac.in. The deadline to submit the CUET UG 2023 Applications is April 11, 2023 up to 11:50 PM. 

“Following requests from several students, we have decided to re-open the application portal for CUET-UG on Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday and will close at 11.59 pm on Tuesday (11 April 2023). Students are requested to visit https://cuet.samarth.ac.in for more details,” UGC Chairman Mamidala Jagadesh Kumar tweeted on April 8, 2023. 

Earlier last week, the UGC Chairman also notified that over 14 lakh applications have been received for CUET UG 2023, and around 242 universities will be participating in the latest iteration of the CUET exam. “Nearly 14 lakh applications have been received for CUET-UG 2023. The application tally for 2023, is up by 41% from last year. We have also seen an increase in the number of participating universities. In 2022, it was 90, but in 2023 it rose to 242. This significant rise indicates that CUET-UG is becoming a popular option for admissions in UG programmes,” the UGC Chief said. 

Earlier, the NTA concluded the CUET-UG 2023 Application process on March 30, 2023. As per the previous schedule, the last date to submit CUET-UG 2023 Applications was March 12, 2023, which was later extended till March 30. As per the official schedule notified earlier, the NTA will be tentatively releasing the Exam City Intimation Slip on April 30, 2023. While the admit cards for the exam are slated to be released in the second week of May 2022, the CUET - UG 2023 Exam is scheduled to be held from May 21 to 31, 2023.
