NTA CSIR UGC NET Results 2019 Declared; Here's How To Check Scores, Download Soft Copy

UGC NET 2019 Result: The National Testing Agency has on Wednesday declared the results of the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) UGC National Eligibility Test (CGIR UGC NET) exams on its official website. Candidates who appeared for the examination can check the results at csirnet.nta.nic.in. According to reports, a total of 282,116 candidates appeared for the CGIR UGC NET examination held across as many as 605 centres in 214 cities. The examination covered subjects such as Chemical Sciences, Earth sciences, Life Sciences, Mathematical Sciences and Physical Sciences. To view CSIR NET result, click on the download link at the homepage that will be active soon. Candidates, who clear the CSIR NET, are eligible for research under junior research fellowship. According to the official notification, two merit lists will be declared on the official website soon. One list will comprise of the candidates who have qualified the Junior Research Fellowship (JRF-NET), while the other list will comprise of the candidates who have qualified the  Eligibility Test for Lectureship (LS-NET)/ Assistant Professorship. On the home page, click on the 'CSIR NET December 2019 exam result' link Step 3. Select one of the options appearing on the page and click 'proceed' Step 4. A new page will appear on the display screen Step 5. Enter registration number, roll number Step 6. The UGC CSIR NET result will appear on the display screen Step 7. Download a soft copy/PDF and take a printout for future reference (Note: The exam scheduled for the Assam and Meghalaya region was postponed till December 27, 2019, due to anti-Citizenship Amendment Act protests in the states.) NTA has also released the final answer key for CSIR UGC NET  examination on its official website. Several complaints of glitches in official website have been reported by the students, while NTA claims that the same is working fine.
