NTA CMAT 2024: Registration Process Likely To Begin Soon On cmat.nta.nic.in

Several institutions across the country use the CMAT scores to offer admissions into their various management programmes.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) is likely to begin the registration cum application  process for the CMAT (Common Management Aptitude Test) soon on its official website. Once the portal opens, interested and eligible candidates will be able to apply for the CMAT 2024 exam on the official website - cmat.nta.ac.in. Although no confirmation has been made officially by the NTA, considering the timeline of management exams and CMAT 2023 exam, the CMAT 2024 Application process should be around the corner. 

Besides commencing the CMAT 2024 registration process, the NTA will also publish the detailed information brochure, timeline of events, eligibility criteria, exam pattern, and other CMAT 2204 details on its website. Candidates are advised to thoroughly read and go through these details on the official website before applying for the NTA CMAT 2024 Exam.

CMAT 2024: Eligibility And Registration Fee

To apply for the NTA CMAT 2204 Exam, candidates should have completed their graduation degree in any stream from a recognised university. Those who are appearing for their final year exams shall also be eligible to apply for the CMAT 2024 Exam. For CMAT 2023, the registration fee for General category candidates was Rs 2,000, while General category females candidates as well as those from the reserved categories were required to pay an application fee of Rs 1,000. The registration cum application fee for CMAT 2024 Exam is also likely to be similar to that of its previous iteration. 

Notably, the CMAT is a popular management entrance exam held at the national-level, every year. Several higher education institutes across the country offering postgraduate management programmes use CMAT Scores to offer qualified candidates into their courses. Last year, teh CMAT 2023 Exam was held on May 4, 2023. The CMAT 2023 Exam was held on the online CBT Computer Based Test) mode and the exam mode is likely to remain unchanged from last year. 

CMAT 2024: Exam Format

Generally, the CMAT Exam paper consists of 100 multiple choice questions (MCQs) for a total of 400 marks. The questions are spread across various sections which include: Quantitative Techniques & Data Interpretation, Logical Reasoning, Language Comprehension & Verbal Ability, General Awareness, and Innovation and Entrepreneurship. Each section consists of 20 questions, and every question carries 4 marks. However, incorrect responses also attract a penalty of -1 mark.
