NID DAT 2025 Registration: The National Institute of Design (NID) has started the registration for the NID Design Aptitude Test (NID DAT) 2025. Aspiring candidates seeking admission to B.Des and M.Des Programmes can apply on the official website at admission.nid.edu. The last date to register online is December 3, 2024, without a late fee. NID DAT serves as the entrance exam for B.Des and M.Des Programmes at NID campuses and affiliated institutions. The exam is conducted in two stages: the preliminary exam and the main exam. Candidates must successfully clear both stages to be considered for admission.

NID DAT 2025 Eligibility

As per the minimum eligibility criteria, candidates who have completed or are scheduled to complete their Class 12 qualifying exam in any stream from a recognized board in the academic year 2024-25 are eligible to apply for B.Des courses. For M.Des Programmes, applicants must hold a three- or four-year bachelor's degree from a recognised university or a full-time certificate in design, fine arts, applied arts, or architecture from a recognised institution after completing Class 12.
