NExT Mock Test 2023: Registration Window Closing Today, Apply Now On next.aiimsexams.ac.in

Final year MBBS candidates can register for the NExT Mock Test 2023 on next.aiimsexams.ac.in. The NExT Mock Test 2023 will be held on July 28.

The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) will close the registration window for the NExT (National Exit Test) Mock Test 2023 today, July 10, 2023. Candidates in the final year of their MBBS degrees in any college in the country can register for the AIIMS NExT Mock Test 2023 on the official website - next.aiimsexams.ac.in. As per the official schedule, the AIIMS will be conducting the NExT Mock Test on July 28, 2023, and the admit cards for the test will be released on July 21, 2023. 

The NExT Mock Test is aimed at familiarizing candidates with the test, exam software interface, and the exam process flow at the examination centres. As per a recent notification from AIIMS Delhi, General and OBC category candidates will have to pay a fee of Rs 2,000, and SC, ST, and EWS candidates will have to pay a fee of Rs 1,000, to appear in the NExT Exam. Persons with disabilities have been exempted from paying any fee for appearing in the exam. 

Notably, the National Medical Council (NMC) released the NExT Regulations 2023. The regulations underline that the AIIMS (All India Institute of Medical Sciences) will be conducting the NExT Exam in two phases: NExT Step 1 and NExT Step 2. Candidates who clear the NExT Step 1 Exam will be required to undergo an internship of four years and then appear for the NExT Step 2 Exam to obtain the licence and ascertain eligibility to practice modern medicine in India. Foreign medical graduates who wish to practice medicine in India will also have to undergo the same process. 

Through a gazette notification, the NMC has also announced that the NExT Exam would be conducted for final year MBBS students across the country and serve as a licentiate examination to certify the eligibility of medical graduates to practice modern medicine in India. The exam shall also determine the eligibility of final year MBBS students for admissions into higher medical degree programs. The NExT Step 1 Scorecard shall also be considered for admission into postgraduate medical courses. 

NExT Mock Test: Steps To Register

  • Visit the official website - next.aiimsexams.ac.in
  • On the homepage, click on the ‘Proceed To Basic Registration’ button
  • Click on ‘New User Registration,’ and then on ‘Proceed’
  • Fill in the registration form with all details, check the acknowledgement box, and then, click on ‘Register’
  • A confirmation mail will now be sent to your registered email address with your Registration ID and Password
  • Generate your EUC using your Registration ID and Password
  • Pay the NExT Mock Test Fee and submit the final application
  • Download the application confirmation page for future reference
