The National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER), Bhubaneswar, and Mumbai University - Department of Atomic Energy Centre for Excellence in Basic Sciences (UM-DAE CEBS), will start accepting applications for the NEST (National Entrance Screening Test) 2024 Exam today, March 30, 2024, as per the official schedul. Interested and eligible candidates who wish to appear for the exam can submit their NEST 2024 registration cum application forms on the official website - nestexam.in. 

As per the official schedule, the NEST 2024 Exam is scheduled to be conducted on June 30, 2024. Registered candidates can expect to download the NEST 2024 Admit Card from June 15, 2024 onwards. Held every year at the national-level, the NEST 2024 Exam is conducted to shortlist suitable candidates for admissions into 5-Year Integrated M.Sc Programmes in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Mathematics at the National Institute of Science Education and Research, Bhubaneswar, and University of Mumbai – Department of Atomic Energy Centre for Excellence in Basic Sciences (UM–DAE CEBS), Mumbai. 

The NEST exam paper ideally consists of questions distributed across four sections: Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology where each of these sections carry 50 marks. The final merit list of shortlisted candidates is prepared by considering the best score of each candidate in the top three sections attempted. As per the official schedule, the NEST 2024 Results are scheduled to be published on July 10, 2024. For details on the exams, interested candidates are advised to visit the official website.
