NEET UG 2024: Registrations Closing In Two Days, Application Correction From March 18 - See Details

The last date to register and apply for the NEET UG 2024 Exam is March 16, 2024.

Attention candidates! The online application process for the NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) UG 2024 is underway. Interested and eligible candidates who wish to appear for the exam can submit their applications on the official website - exams.nta.ac.in. The last date to register and apply for the NEET UG 2024 Exam 2024, following the extension of the registration deadline. As per the previous schedule though, the NEET UG 2024 registration process was scheduled to conclude on March 9, 2024.

Interested candidates may further note that while applying for the NEET UG 2024 Exam, General/NRI candidates will be required to pay an application fee of Rs 1,700, while General-EWS/ OBC-NCL candidates will be required to pay a fee of Rs 1,600. For SC/ST/PwBD/Third Gender candidates, the NEET UG 2024 Application Fee is Rs 1,000. 

Candidates may note that following the closure of the NEET UG 2024 Application Window, registered candidates will also be able to make corrections/ changes to their applications. The NEET UG application correction window shall be hosted on the official website from March 18 to March 20, 2024.

“The window for corrections shall be available till 20 March 2024 (up to 11:50 P.M.) After this deadline, no further corrections will be permitted under any circumstances. Any additional fees required for corrections must be paid by the candidate concerned using Credit/Debit Card, Net Banking, or UPI. Since it is a one-time facility extended to the candidates to avoid any hardships to them, the candidates are informed to do the correction very carefully, as no further chance for correction will be given to the candidates,” reads an official notice in this regard on the NTA website. 

As per the official schedule, the NEET UG 2024 Exam will be held on Sunday, May 5, 2024. As per the announcement, the NEET UG 2024 Result will be released on June 14, 2024. The NEET UG 2024 exam will be held in the offline pen and paper mode and consist of a total of 200 objective-type questions. 

The maximum time duration of the exam shall be r hours and 20 minutes. Similar to its previous iteration, the NEET UG 2024 Exam will also be held in 13 languages which include: English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu.
