NEET UG 2024 Registration To Begin Soon On neet.nta.nic.in; Know Steps To Apply

NEET UG 2024 Registration: Interested candidates can apply online at neet.nta.nic.in.

NEET UG 2024 Registration: The National Testing Agency (NTA) is set to begin registrations for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test, NEET UG 2024, shortly at neet.nta.nic.in. According to media reports, the NTA is expected to open the NEET UG registration window within the next few hours. To apply for NEET 2024, candidates must have completed or be enrolled in Class 12 with subjects Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English from a recognised board. Additionally, candidates must be a minimum of 17 years old by December 31, 2024.

NEET 2024 Registration: Steps To Apply

Step 1: Visit the official website of NEET at neet.nta.nic.in. 

Step 2:
Click on the NEET registration window link.

Step 3:
Fill in personal and academic detail and choose exam centres.

Step 4: Upload the scanned images of documents.

Step 5:
Pay application fees.

Step 6:
Submit the application form.

Step 7:
Download the confirmation page.

NEET 2024 Exam Pattern

Here is the NEET exam pattern breakdown:

  • Physics: 50 questions (Section A: 35 questions, Section B: 15 questions), with a total of 180 marks.
  • Chemistry: 50 questions (Section A: 35 questions, Section B: 15 questions), with a total of 180 marks.
  • Biology (Botany & Zoology): 100 questions (Section A: 70 questions, Section B: 30 questions), with a total of 360 marks.
  • Total: 200 questions with a total of 720 marks.

NEET 2024, the national entrance test for medical, dental, AYUSH, veterinary, BSc Nursing and BSc Life Science courses, will be conducted offline in 13 languages. This comprehensive exam will take place in 499 cities across India, including 14 cities outside the country.

NEET 2024 Application Fees 

For NEET UG 2024, students have the flexibility to pay the application fee through various modes such as Debit Card, Credit Card, Net banking or Unified Payment Interface (UPI). Payment services are available through State Bank of India, Syndicate Bank, ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank and Paytm service providers.

Here's the fee structure for NEET 2024 application form:

  • General category: Rs. 1700/-
  • General-EWS/OBC-NCL*: Rs. 1600/-
  • SC/ST/PH/Third gender Candidates: Rs. 1000/-
  • Centres outside India fee: Rs. 9500/-
