NEET UG 2021: Registration Process To Begin Tomorrow - Here's How To Apply

NEET UG 2021: After the NEET UG 2021 application process begins, interested and eligible candidates will be able to apply for the NEET UG 2021 examination online at ntaneet.nic.in. 

NEET UG 2021: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will begin the online registration process for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET-Undergraduate) 2021 on Tuesday, July 13, 2021, on its official website. After the NEET UG 2021 application process begins, interested and eligible candidates will be able to apply for the NEET UG 2021 examination online at ntaneet.nic.in. 

According to the schedule, the National Testing Agency (NTA) will held the NEET UG 2021 examination on September 12, 2021, at various centres spread across the country. 

Amidst the second Covid-19 wave, lakhs of medical applicants have been demanding that the agency should postpone the NEET-UG 2021. Students have repetitively said that the conditions for holding of physical examination in the current situation is not conducive. Meanwhile, various medical aspirants have also suggested that like JEE Main, the agency should also conduct the NEET UG exam twice or thrice this year. However, the agency later clarified that the NEET UG 2021 medical entrance exam will only be held once this year.

In view of the covid-19 protocols, the agency has increased the number of cities where the examination will be conducted from 155 to 198. "The number of examination centers will also be increased from the 3862 centers used in 2020," Union Minister of Education Dharmendra Pradhan said on Monday. 

In wake of the covid-19 pandemic, candidates will be provided with face masks at the examination center. "Staggered time slots during entry and exit, contactless registration, proper sanitisation, seating with social distancing etc. will also be ensured," he further added. 

The agency conducts the NEET UG 2021 examination for admission to various MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BSMS, BUMS and BHMS Courses at various institutes spread across the country. 

How to apply for NEET-UG 2021 after registration begins:

  • Visit the official website at ntaneet.nic.in
  • On the homepage, click on the link to apply for the NEET UG 2021 examination
  • A new page will appear on the display screen
  • Fill in all the requisite information and submit
  • Once your registration id is created, go back to the candidate login section
  • Key in your credentials and log in
  • The NEET-UG 2021 application form will be displayed on the screen
  • Fill in all the required information and upload all supporting documents
  • Make payment
  • Download the confirmation page and take its print out for future reference.
