NEET UG 2021 Exam: The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (Undergraduate) is expected to be postponed in view of the current covid-19 pandemic.
According to a PTI report, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had reviewed various measures to increase human resources for effective COVID-19 management and discussed possible steps including incentivizing students and pass-outs of medical and nursing courses to join in countering the covid-19 surge. The final details regarding the NEET UG exam are likely to be announced on Monday, May 3, 2021.

The NEET-UG 2021 examination is scheduled to be conducted on August 1, 2021.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the NEET (UG) 2021 examination in 11 languages, including Hindi and English through Pen and Paper mode. The total duration of the examination is three hours.
"The NEET (UG) 2021 is going to be conducted by NTA for admission to MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BSMS, BUMS, and BHMS Courses as per the relevant norms /guidelines/regulations notified by the concerned Regulatory Bodies. The Result of NEET (UG) - 2021 may be utilized by other Entities of Central/State Governments (including Indian Nursing Council/ Nursing Colleges/ Schools, JIPMER) for counseling/admission to relevant courses [including B.Sc. (Nursing) and B.Sc. (Life Sciences)] in accordance with their rules/norms/
guidelines" reads the official notice released on March 12.
