NEET PG Result: SC To Resume Hearing On Result Transparency Plea On October 4
The Supreme Court will resume hearing the NEET PG result transparency plea on October 4, which seeks the release of answer keys.
The Supreme Court will hear a crucial plea concerning the transparency of NEET PG results on October 4. The petitioners have raised concerns about the normalisation process and alleged discrepancies in the exam results. The plea demands greater transparency in the result declaration process, requesting the release of answer keys and details of the evaluation methodology used in determining the final scores.
While hearing the plea, CJI DY Chandrachud said, "We will keep it for Monday. The UOI has to be present. If none appears, we request the presence of any of the ASGs to assist the court."
However, the court later changed the listing date, and the matter is tentatively set to be heard on October 4.
In the last hearing, addressing the NBE's counsel, the Chief Justice of India (CJI) questioned why the exam pattern was modified so close to the exam date, stating, "They claim you haven't framed regulations; everything relies on the brochure, and just three days before the exam, the entire pattern is changed—how can you do this?"
The NBE's counsel responded that no unusual changes had been made. The CJI countered, "It is very unusual! Three days before the examinations? Students will have a meltdown!"
