NEET PG Special Stray Vacancy Round Counselling Schedule Released; Registration Begins Tomorrow
NEET PG Special Stray Vacancy Round Counselling schedule has been released.
“All the NEET PG 2023 eligible candidates are hereby informed that to prevent wastage of precious medical seats, MoHFW has decided to conduct a Special Stray Vacancy Round for the vacant MD/ MS/ Diploma/ MDS Seats of AIQ and State Quota. It is pertinent to mention that this Special Stray Vacancy Round will be the last round for Postgraduate courses for this academic year i.e 2023,” said MCC in an official notice.
The schedule for the NEET PG Counselling 2023 special stray vacancy round is as follows:
- Fresh registration and payment: November 17, 2023, to November 22, 2023
- Choice-filling and choice-locking: November 18, 2023, to November 22, 2023
- Processing of seat allotment: November 23, 2023, to November 24, 2023
- Publication of result: November 24, 2023
- Reporting at allotted college: November 25, 2023, to November 30, 2023
Eligibility criteria for this round include:
- Candidates without a seat in either the All India Quota or state quota are eligible, except those who didn't join seats allotted through MCC round-3 onwards.
- Candidates who fail to join their allotted seat in this round will forfeit their security deposit and be debarred from the NEET exam the following year.
- Data of allotted candidates in this round will be shared with states, and candidates allotted seats by MCC won't be allowed admission in state counselling.

- This round doesn't offer an opportunity for upgrade; candidates who joined in earlier rounds won't have a chance to upgrade their seats.
