NEET PG 2024 Hearing: The Supreme Court will hear the NEET PG 2024 result transparency plea on October 25. Several petitioners raised concerns about last-minute changes in the examination pattern and other irregularities in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET). Aspirants also raised concerns over a lack of transparency in the results process. Aspirants have expressed frustration over the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) introducing sudden changes just three days before the exam and concerns about the unclear marking process, among other issues.

The NEET PG 2024 exam was conducted on August 11 by the National Board of Examinations (NBE) and its results were declared on August 23. However, a group of 19 students filed a petition with the Supreme Court, raising concerns about the lack of transparency and arbitrary last-minute changes in the exam's execution.

NEET PG Counselling Schedule 2024 Still Awaited

The NEET PG counselling registration for 2024 is currently ongoing, but the complete counselling schedule has yet to be announced by the authorities. Frustrated students have taken to social media platform X, expressing their displeasure with the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) for its lack of clarity and delayed actions. The MCC is responsible for conducting the counselling process for 50% of All India Quota (AIQ) MD and MS seats across the country.

Meanwhile, the United Doctors Front Association (UDFA) has appealed to Hon'ble Health Minister JP Nadda, urging him to intervene in the delay of the NEET PG 2024 counselling process. The association has requested the ministry to take prompt action, as the ongoing delay is causing significant stress and anxiety for over 2 lakh NEET PG aspirants.
