NEET 2023 Registration Begins At neet.nta.nic.in, Here's How To Apply

NEET UG 2023 Registration: The last date to apply for the entrance test on neet.nta.nic.in is April 6.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has started the application process for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test or NEET-UG 2023 exam. Interested candidates can apply online on the official website of NEET at neet.nta.nic.in. The last date to fill the application form is April 6, 2023.

The application fee for NEET has been raised for all candidates. General category candidates are now required to pay ₹1,700 to take the exam. For General-EWS/OBC-NCL candidates, the fee is ₹1,600, while for SC/ST/PwBD/Third Gender candidates, the fee is ₹900. Candidates from outside India are required to pay an exam fee of ₹9,500. It is to be noted that all applicants must pay GST and processing charges, which will be added to the exam fees.

The Entrance Test shall consist of 200 multiple-choice questions (four options with a single correct answer) from Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (Botany and Zoology). 50 questions in each subject will be divided into two Sections (A and B). The duration of the Examination will be 200 minutes (03 hours 20 minutes)
from 02:00 PM to 05:20 PM (Indian Standard Time) and shall be uniform for all candidates.

NEET (UG) – 2023 will be conducted in 13 languages i.e. English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu. 

NEET UG 2023 Eligibility: 

Candidates must have completed 10+2 or an equivalent examination from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English as core subjects to be eligible for NEET. Aspirants currently appearing for their Class 12 or equivalent examination are also eligible to apply for NEET.

The required percentage in Class 12 varies for each category and is as follows:

  • UR (Unreserved category) - 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB) subjects.
  • OBC/SC/ST (Other Backward Classes/Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe) - 40% aggregate marks in PCB subjects.
  • PWD (Persons with Disability) - 40% aggregate marks in PCB subjects.

  • Visit the official website of NTA at neet.nta.nic.in.
  • Click on the NEET-UG 2023 registration link.
  • Fill in all the required details in the NEET UG application form.
  • Upload all the required documents and pay the online application fee.
  • Review and verify all the information filled in the application form before submitting it.
  • After submitting the application form, download the confirmation page.
  • Take a printout of the application form and confirmation page for future reference.
