NEET 2022 To Be Held On July 17, JEE Mains Pushed From May To June & July

New Delhi: The National Testing Agency (NTA) on Wednesday announced that the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (Undergraduate) or NEET examination will be conducted on July 17.

The test will be held in 13 languages at test centres across the country. NEET exams are for admission to undergraduate medical courses in India, including MBBS and BDS.
Additionally, the JEE examination has now been rescheduled and will take place in the months of June and July. Earlier, the JEE-Mains exams were scheduled to take place in March.

While making the announcement, the engineering entrance exam JEE-Main's first session has been postponed to June and the second session to July.
"Candidates who have passed Class 12 from Open School or as private candidates shall not be eligible to appear for the ‘National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test’," the NTA said in an official statement.
Candidates should be at least 17 years old (born on or before December 31, 2005, to appear for NEET 2022.
The education body has removed the upper age limit for NEET 2022 this time.
"The last date for submission of online application form is May 6. Candidates must strictly follow the instructions given in the information bulletin and on the NTA website. Candidates not complying with the instructions shall be summarily disqualified," a senior NTA official told news agency PTI.
"Candidates must ensure that the e-mail address and mobile number provided in the online application form are their own or of parents and guardians only as all information and communication will be sent by NTA through e-mail on the registered e-mail address or SMS on the registered mobile number only," the official added.
