Exams Dates, Admit Card Links for JEE Mains, UGC NET, NEET 2020 Examination Due in September: Here all the important dates that need to be checked for the September competitive exams.

New Delhi: After the delay caused by the coronavirus pandemic, National Testing Agency is now gearing up for the JEE NEET exams 2020 in September. ALSO READ | What Do MHA's Unlock 4 Guidelines Say About Visiting Schools, Other Institutes? Here’s All You Need To Know As the JEE, NEET, UGC NET exams 2020 approach, here is a look at some of the important dates related to the conduct of these exams so far.

Joint Entrance Examination (JEE)

The JEE Mains 2020 will be held between September 1 to September 6. The results of JEE Mains will be announced tentatively on September 10 and then JEE (Advanced) will be conducted on September 27. Anyone who wishes to appear for the Advanced assessments has to first sit for the Main exam. Earlier, the admit cards for the same were released from August 17 till September 6. JEE Main 2020 April application form was made available from February 7 to March 12, then it was reopened for corrections. Candidates who registered for the January session of JEE Main 2020 could skip registration and login with previous credentials. The exams were supposed to be conducted in the month of July but were postponed because of the Coronavirus situation. National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test

NEET (UG) 2020 exam will be held on September 13. The admit cards for the same were made available from August 26 and will be accessible till September 13. Earlier, the registration process was undertaken Dec 2, 2019, till January 6, 2020, then NTA had reopened the correction window option of NEET application form for registered candidates which had been extended till July 20. 8.58 lakh and 15.97 lakh candidates have been registered for JEE (Main) and NEET (UG) 2020 respectively. UGC National Eligibility Test

The UGC NET is scheduled to be held on September 16 to 18 and then from September 21 to 25.  The registrations had taken place from March 16 to June 30. The admit card will be released online a few days before the date of the exam and candidates will be able to download the admit card till the exam date.

Covid-19 Precautions

In order to ensure proper social distancing inside the examination halls, the candidates will be seated in alternate seats in case of JEE (Main). In the case of NEET (UG), the number of candidates per room has been reduced from earlier 24 to 12, now. For ensuring social distancing outside the examination hall, the entry and exit of candidates have been staggered. Adequate arrangements have also been made outside the examination centers to enable candidates to stand with adequate social distancing while waiting.
