NBEMS Extends Time To Collect FMGE Pass Certificate Till August 30

NBEMS: The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NEMS) has extended the deadline to collect FMGE pass certificates till August 30, 2024.

NBEMS: The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NEMS) has extended the deadline to collect FMGE pass certificates till August 30, 2024. Students who have qualified for the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) in the June and December sessions last year can collect their FMGE pass certificates from the office by August 8, 2024.  The board has extended the deadline to collect certificates because some students asked for more time. Earlier, students had until February 28, 2024, to get their certificates, but some missed the deadline, and their applications were canceled.

“Accordingly, all such FMGE qualified candidates who have failed to collect their FMGE Pass Certificates in response to NBEMS notice dated 17.10.2023 are being given another opportunity to collect the same latest by 30th August 2024,” the official notice reads.

“Further, the last date for collection of FMGE Pass Certificates for December 2023 session is also extended from 6th August 2024 to 30th August 2024. The clause 10.7 of the information bulletin for FMGE December 2023 and entry slips issued to collect Pass Certificates should be read accordingly,” the notice further added.

NBEMS announced that FMGE-qualified students need to make an appointment to collect their certificates. To do this, they must send a request through the Communication Web Portal (CWP). Students must go to the NBEMS office at their scheduled time to collect their certificates. NBEMS has instructed them regarding the documents to bring when they schedule their appointment.

The medical board stated that the pass certificate will only be given to students who show the required documents and verify their identity, including using biometrics or face ID if required

In case a foreign medical graduate fails to collect his or her FMGE pass certificate till August 30, 2024 it will be assumed that he or she does not possess the required documents to fulfill eligibility and therefore, his or her certificate would be rejected.
