Kerala TET May 2021 Application: Registration Begins From April 28, Check Details

Those who apply through the registration process will be issues admit card online to take the examination

Kerala Pareeksha Bhavan has notified on Friday about the registration process for Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (KTET) May 2021 . Candidates looking to apply for KTET can start applying for the positions from April 28, 2021 through the official site ktet.kerala.gov.in.

However, the notification didn't mention the exam date for the KTET May 2021 session. Those who apply will get the admit card online to take the examination. The examination will be conducted to fill up Teacher posts in the state. Candidates can check the eligibility, application fees, and other details below.

What's the eligibility criteria?

Lower Primary Classes: For teaching in lower primary classes, candidates should have passed 12th/ 10+ 2 with a minimum of 45 percent marks.

Upper Primary Classes: For teaching in upper Primary Classes, candidates should have BA/ B.Sc./ B.Com.

For High School Classes: Candidates should have a graduation degree with BA/ BSc/ B.Com degree securing at least 45% marks along with a B.Ed.

What's the KTET Application Process 2021

  • Candidates need to register themselves on the website before filling the KTET application

  • Then use the credentials used while registering to login into the website.

  • You have to enter the details including name, parents name, details related to the academic qualification etc.

  • Afte details are filled in, you will need to pay the application fee in online mode only.

  • Only those candidates form will be accepted who have paid the online fee.

KTET 2021 Application Fee

The KTET application fee is Rs 500 for general category candidates and Rs 250 for SC/ST/PH/Blind category candidates. The application fee, once paid, will not be refunded.

For High School Classes: Candidates possessing a Certificate/ Diploma/ Degree in teaching in any subject, and are approved by Universities/ NCTE/ Board of Examinations/ Government of Kerala, are eligible to apply.
