Karnataka NMMS Scholarship 2023: Registration Begins, Apply By October 4 - Check Details
The Karnataka NMMS Scholarship Exam 2023 will be held on December 17, 2023.
The Karnataka School Quality Assessment and Accreditation Council (KSQAAC) has started accepting registrations for the Karnataka NMMS (National Means-cum-Merit Scholarship) 2023 for students of Class 8. Interested and eligible candidates can apply for the scholarship on the official website - kseab.karnataka.gov.in. The last date to apply for the scholarship is October 4, 2023. Notably, the Karnataka NMMS scholarship is aimed at providing financial help to meritorious students hailing from poor and marginalised backgrounds. The scholarship scheme provides an aid of Rs 12,000 annually to the selected students per annum.
As per the official schedule, the KSQAAC will conduct the Karnataka NMMS Exam 2023 on December 17, 2023. While applying for the scholarship, candidates will also be able to select among Kannada, English, Urdu, Marathi and Telugu languages as the medium of the examination. The Karnataka NMMS Examination 2023 will consist of two papers held in two shafts. The first paper, ‘Mental Ability Test’ (MAT) will be held from 10:30 am to 12 pm, while the second paper ‘Academic aptitude test’ will be conducted from 2 pm to 3:30 pm.
Candidates who have secured a minimum aggregate of 55% marks in their Class 7 are eligible to apply for the Karnataka NMMS Scholarship 2023. Moreover, the family earning of interested candidates should not be more than 3.5 lakhs annually. In addition, for the continuation of the scholarship, selected candidates must score at least 60% in their Class 10 board examination. - Visit the official website - kseab.karnataka.gov.in
- On the homepage, click on NMMS Login from the SSLC Portal Drop-Down list
- Click on the login button, fill your username and password
- Fill in the application form and upload documents as required
- Take a printout of the application, get it signed along with other essentials documents by the Head of your institution
- Upload the signed documents to your account, and then click on ‘Finalize Application’
