UPSC IFS 2024 Registration Begins On upsc.gov.in; Direct Link Here

UPSC IFS 2024 notification has been released on the official website at upsc.gov.in.

The Union Public Service Commission has begun the registration process for the UPSC IFS Exam 2024 on February 14, 2024. Interested candidates can apply online for the Indian Forest Service Examination through the official website of UPSC at upsc.gov.in or upsconline.nic.in. The last date to apply is March 5, 2024. The correction window for the UPSC Indian Forest Service (IFS) Exam 2024 will open on March 6 and close on March 12, 2024. The Indian Forest Service (Main) Examination is scheduled to be conducted on May 26, 2024. Candidates are advised to read the below details before applying for the exam.

UPSC IFS 2024 Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the Indian Forest Service (IFS) examination, candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree with at least one of the following subjects: Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics and Zoology.

Alternatively, candidates can hold a Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Forestry, or Engineering from universities recognized by the Central or State Legislature in India, or institutions established under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956, or deemed universities. The age of the candidate should fall between 21 to 32 years as of August 1, 2024.

UPSC IFS 2024 Application Fee

The application fee for candidates applying for the Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination is Rs 100/-. The fee can be paid through various methods, including depositing the amount in any Branch of SBI by cash, utilizing the net banking facility of State Bank of India, or through Visa/Master/RuPay Credit/Debit card/UPI Payment. Additionally, candidates can make the payment via Internet Banking of any Bank. Female/SC/ST/PwBD candidates are exempted from paying the application fee.

To fill the Indian Forest Service (IFS) examination form, please follow these steps:

Step 1: Visit the official website: upsconline.nic.in.

Step 1: Click on the link provided for IFS registration.

Step 2: Register yourself by providing the required information and generate login credentials.

Step 3: Log in using your details and fill out the application form accurately.

Step 4: Upload the necessary documents as per the specified format and guidelines.

Step 5: Proceed to make the payment of the application fee through the provided payment options.

Step 6: After completing the payment, submit the filled application form.

Step 7: Save the confirmation page for your records.

Step 8: It is advisable to take a printout of the completed application form for future reference.
