UPSC Civil Services Exam 2022 E-summon Letter Released At upsc.gov.in, Check Direct Link

UPSC CSE Exam 2022: Candidates can download the e-summon letter from the official site of UPSC at upsc.gov.in. 

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the e-Summon letter for the personality test of the Civil Services Examination Main (CSE Main 2022) for 918 candidates. Candidates can download the e-summon letter from the official site of UPSC at upsc.gov.in. The commission has scheduled the UPSC IAS interview phase 2 for these candidates from March 13 to April 21, 2023. 

Based on UPSC Result 2022, 2,529 candidates qualified to appear for the CSE Mains interview. However, only 1,026 candidates were scheduled for the phase 1 Civil Services interview from January 30 to March 10. The phase 2 interview will be held for 918 shortlisted candidates.

  • Visit the official UPSC website at upsc.gov.in.
  • Click on the "UPSC Civil Services Exam 2022 e-summon letter" link on the homepage.
  • Enter your login details and click on submit.
  • The e-summon letter will appear on the screen.
  • Download the letter and keep a hard copy for future reference.

No Application Withdrawal For CSE Candidates

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has recently notified that candidates will no longer be allowed to withdraw their applications for the Civil Services Examination after submission, a facility which was introduced in 2018. The Civil Services Preliminary Examination for 2023 is scheduled to be held on May 28, and the selection process includes three stages: preliminary, main and interview, to select officers for various services, including Indian Administrative Service, Indian Foreign Service and Indian Police Service.

As per the notification, around 1,105 vacancies will be filled through the UPSC Civil Services Exam 2022, including 37 vacancies for persons with benchmark disabilities. The breakdown of disability categories is seven vacancies for blindness and low vision, five for deaf and hard of hearing, and 15 for locomotor disabilities such as cerebral palsy, leprosy cured, dwarfism, acid attack victims, and muscular dystrophy. The number of vacancies may change based on the confirmed number received from cadre controlling authorities.
