UPPSC PCS 2023: Registration And Fee Payment Deadline Extended - Apply Now

Interested candidates can submit their UPPSC PCS 2023 Applications till April 10, 2023. The UPPSC PCS 2023 Application Fee can be paid till April 6, 2023.

The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has extended the registration deadline of the UPPSC PCS 2023 Exam. Interested candidates who are yet to submit their registration cum application forms can pay their UPPSC PCS 2023 Application Fee till April 10, and submit their online applications till April 10, 2023. 

As per the earlier schedule, the last date to submit the UPPSC PCS 2023 Applications was April 3, 2023. However, the application deadline has now been extended by the commission. Earlier last month, the UPPSC released the PSC 2023 notification for the recruitment of 173 suitable candidates for various administrative positions in the Uttar Pradesh government. However, candidates may note that the final number of vacancies are subject to change, as per the requirements of the commission and the UP government. 

Earlier last month, the UPPSC released the UPPSC PCSW 2023 notification on March 3, and started inviting online applications from eligible candidates from the very same day. 

UPPSC PCS 2023: Eligibility Criteria

Candidates who have completed their Bachelors degree in any discipline from a recognized university are eligible to apply for UPPSC PCS 2023. Moreover, the age of candidates should not be less than 40 years as of July 1, 2023, except for PWD candidates who have a maximum age limit of 55 years.

UPPSC PCS 2023: Selection Process: 

The selection process for UPPSC PCS 2023 involves three stages. The first stage is the Preliminary Exam, which will consist of multiple choice questions (MCQs) for a total of 400 marks. The question paper will be divided into two sections- General Studies I and General Studies II (also known as CSAT).

The second stage is the Main Exam, which will be conducted offline as a pen and paper-based test consisting of nine papers, out of which seven will be compulsory and two will be optional. The third and final stage is the Interview, which will carry a weightage of 100 marks. 

Only candidates who qualify for the UPPSC PCS 2023 prelims and main examination will be eligible to appear for the final interview round for the selection process.

  • Visit the official website of UPPSC – uppsc.up.nic.in.
  • Click on the 'Apply Online' tab.
  • Now click on the UPPSC PCS Registration Link.
  • Fill the required details.
  • Upload documents, photograph and signature.
  • Pay the application fees.
  • Submit the form and download the confirmation page.
