UP Police Constable Recruitment 2023: Interested candidates can apply online at uppbpb.gov.in.

The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board, UPPBPB is all set to start the application process for UP Police Constable Recruitment 2023. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online official website of UPPBPB at uppbpb.gov.in. Candidates should note that the UP police constable application window will close on January 16, 2023. Meanwhile, UPPBPB has revised the age limit to apply for UP Police Constable Recruitment 2023. The official notice is available on the official website, uppbpb.gov.in.

According to the official notice, there's been an adjustment in the age limit criteria for Constable posts. Previously, the age limit for male candidates was set between 18 to 22 years and for female candidates, it was between 18 to 25 years. However, with the new update, all categories of candidates are now granted a three-year relaxation in the maximum age limit.

Consequently, the revised age limit criteria allow male candidates between 18 to 25 years and female candidates between 18 to 28 years to apply for Constable posts. This extension in the age limit widens the eligibility criteria, enabling a broader range of candidates to apply for these positions.

This recruitment process aims to fill a total of 60,244 constable vacancies within the department. Of which, 24,102 vacancies are for General category, 6,024 for EWS, 16,264 for OBC, 12,650 for SC and 1,204 for ST candidates.

Eligibility criteria for the UP Police Constable Recruitment 2023 mandates candidates to have passed Class 10 or 12 from a recognised board. Additionally, applicants are required to pay a registration fee of Rs 400. The payment window for this fee will be open until January 18, 2024.
