The Uttar Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation (UPMRC) has started the registration process for the UP Metro Rail Recruitment 2024. Interested and eligible candidates who wish to participate in the recruitment drive can submit their registration cum application forms on the official website - lmrcl.com. Interested candidates may further note that the last date to register and pay the application fee for the recruitment is April 19, 2024. 

As per the official recruitment advertisement, the UPMRC will release the admit cards for the exam for registered candidates on April 30, 2024. The written exam for the recruitment is tentatively scheduled to be held on May 11, 12, and 14, 2024. Before applying for the UPMRC Recruitment 2024, candidates are advised to carefully go through the detailed recruitment advertisement. 

Notably, the UPMRC is conducting the recruitment drive to fill a total of 439 vacancies for non-executive posts in the UP Metro Rail Corporation including Assistant Manager, Assistant Company Secretary, Junior Engineers, Station Controllers, Assistants and Maintainers. To apply for the UP Metro Rail Recruitment 2024, candidates must have secured a minimum aggregate of 60% marks (50% for vacancies reserved for SC/ST Candidates), in the qualifying examination relevant to the post applying for. 

The selection criteria for various posts on offer under the recruitment drive varies from one post to another. However, for most of the posts candidates will be required to undergo a written examination, document verification and medical examination. For more details on the post-wise selection criteria, candidates are advised to visit the official website. 

“Objective type Computer Based Test (CBT) for all the posts will be held on one or more days. Question paper will be bilingual i.e in English and Hindi. It will consist of multiple-choice objective type questions to judge the knowledge of English language, General Awareness, Logical Ability, Quantitative Aptitude and knowledge of the discipline,” reads the official recruitment notification on the website in regard to the written examination.
