The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is expected to release the notification for the Constables (General Duty) recruitment examination in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), NIA, SSF, and Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles Examination, 2024. This aligns with the commission's outlined schedule for the year 2023-24.  Typically, registrations for these recruitment exams commence concurrently with the notification release. According to the tentative schedule, interested candidates are expected to have until December 28 to complete and submit their SSC GD 2024 application forms.

The SSC GD constable 2024 exam is set to be held on February, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 26, 27, 28, 29 and March 1, 5, 6, 7, 11, 12, 2024. 

A total of 75,768 vacancies are to be filled through this recruitment drive. Successful candidates will secure positions in various esteemed forces including Border Security Force (BSF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), Secretariat Security Force (SSF), Rifleman (General Duty) in Assam Rifles (AR), and Sepoy in NIA (National Investigation Agency).

• Candidates eligible for the Constable posts must have completed their 10th standard from a recognized board.
• The age criteria require applicants to be a minimum of 18 years old and a maximum of 23 years old. Notably, candidates from reserved categories will receive age limit relaxations in accordance with the prescribed rules.
