Applicants must have successfully completed High School/10th with at least 50% marks, along with holding an ITI in the specified trade as of the notification's issuance date.

Know Everything About Railway Apprentice

Indian Railways stands as the largest functioning government organization, boasting the highest number of employees in its ranks. Within its array of opportunities lies the apprenticeship program, governed by the Apprentice Act 1961 (last amended in 2014). According to this Act, candidates above 14 years old, meeting education and physical fitness standards, qualify for apprenticeship training.

Eligibility criteria encompass Class 10 graduates who've attained a minimum aggregate of 50% from a recognized Board. Additionally, possessing an ITI Certificate in a relevant trade is required to qualify for the apprenticeship.

Indian Railways offers apprenticeships in a variety of trades such as AC Mechanic, Carpenter, Diesel Mechanic, Electrical/Electronics, Electrician, Electronic Mechanic, Fitter, Machinist, MMW, Painter, and Welder.
