Railway Recruitment 2021: December 1 Deadline To Apply For 1664 Apprentice Posts

New Delhi: North Central Railway has recently started a recruitment drive to fill 1,664 vacancies for the post of apprentice. Interested candidates who have obtained an ITI certificate can apply for a merit-based selection. The deadline for sending in the application is December 1, 2021. Selected candidates would be trained for a year and would be entitled to a fixed stipend on a monthly basis. 

Important dates for recruitment drive 

Applications begin on November 2, 2021
Last date for application is December 1, 2021
Last date for submission of application fee is December 1, 2021
Date of release of examination results/merit list yet to be decided

Qualifications and Age Limit 

Candidates applying for these apprentice vacancies should have passed high school with 50% marks. In addition, they should have an ITI certificate from an NCVT recognized trade. Candidates between 15 and 24 years can apply. Candidates belonging to the reserved category would be eligible for relaxation in age limits, but only as per rules.

Application Fee

The application fee for General and OBC category candidates is Rs 100. SC-ST, differently-abled and female candidates can apply for these vacancies free of cost. Application fee can be deposited using a debit, credit card or net banking.
