JKPSC Recruitment 2021: The Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission (JKPSC) has released an official notification for the recruitment of physical training instructors on its official website. The online registration process will commence from August 23, 2021, onwards. However, it must be noted that the domicile of the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir is only eligible to apply for the posts of physical training instructors. Once the application process begins, interested and eligible candidates will be able to apply for the JKPSC Recruitment 2021 by visiting the official website of the commission at jkpsc.nic.in on or before September 22, 2021.


The commission is conducting a recruitment drive to fill 53 vacancies of physical training instructors. Candidates applying for the position must have a Master’s Degree in Physical Education or Master’s Degree in Sports Science with at least 55% marks (50% excluding any grace marks, in case of ST/SC/Differently abled).


Candidates belonging to the general category are required to pay an application fee of Rs 1000, while the candidates from the reserved categories will pay Rs 500 as a registration fee. However, the PHC Candidates are exempted from the payment of any application fee. 


"In the interview/viva voce, the candidates will be asked, in addition to the demonstration of domain knowledge/skills, questions on matters of general interest and matters related to the post for which he is being interviewed. The object of the interview is to assess the personal suitability of the candidate for a career in public service. The interview test is intended to judge the mental caliber of a candidate. In broad terms, this is really an assessment of not only his intellectual qualities but also social traits and his interest in current affairs," reads the official notification.
