Indian Army Recruitment 2023: Candidates can apply online through the official Indian Army website at joinindianarmy.nic.in.

The Indian Army has invited applications for the 139th Technical Graduate Course (TGC 139). Candidates who wish to apply for the 139th Technical Graduate Course can submit their applications online through the official Indian Army website at joinindianarmy.nic.in. The registration process started on September 27, 2023 and will conclude on October 26, 2023. This recruitment initiative aims to fill 30 vacancies within the organisation. Eligibility Criteria:

  • Age limit: Candidates must be between 20 to 27 years of age as of July 1, 2024.
  • Educational Qualification: Applicants should have either completed the required Engineering Degree course or be in the final year of their Engineering Degree program.

Candidates currently in the final year of their engineering degree program must meet the following conditions:

  • Be able to provide proof of passing the Engineering Degree Examination, including all semesters/years, by July 1, 2024.
  • Produce the Engineering Degree Certificate within 12 weeks from the commencement of training at the Indian Military Academy (IMA).

Selection Process:

The selection process for the 139th Technical Graduate Course includes the following steps:

  1. Shortlisting: Candidates will be shortlisted based on their qualifications and eligibility criteria.

  2. SSB Interview: Shortlisted candidates will appear for the SSB (Services Selection Board) Interview.

  3. Merit List: A merit list will be prepared, categorizing candidates based on their engineering stream/subject. This list will be determined by the marks obtained by candidates during the SSB interview.

Post-Selection

Selected candidates will undergo 12 months of training at the Indian Military Academy in Dehradun. Their placement in the order of merit within their engineering stream will determine their training allocation, provided they meet eligibility requirements. The government covers training costs, but withdrawal for personal reasons will require candidates to reimburse expenses, currently at ₹16,260 per week as of 2023 with potential adjustments in the future.
