IAF Agniveer 2024 Notification Released, Apply Online From July 8

IAF Agniveer 2024 Notification is now available on the official website at agnipathvayu.cdac.in.

IAF Agniveer Recruitment 2024: The Indian Air Force (IAF) has released an official notification inviting unmarried Indian male and female candidates to apply for Agniveer Vayu under the Agnipath scheme. Interested and eligible candidates can register for IAF Agniveer Vayu from July 8 onwards on the official website, at agnipathvayu.cdac.in. According to the notification, the last date to submit the Agniveer 2024 application form is July 28. The IAF Agniveer 2024 exam is scheduled to take place on October 18. Applicants are required to pay an application fee of Rs 550 for registration.

IAF Agniveer Vayu 2024: Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualifications:

For Science Subjects:

  • Passed Class 12 or equivalent with Mathematics, Physics, and English.
  • Minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% in English.

Alternative Qualifications for Science Subjects:

  • Three-year diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Automobile, Computer Science, Instrumentation Technology, or Information Technology) from a recognized polytechnic institute.
  • Minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% in English.

For Non-Science Subjects:

  • Passed Class 12 with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.

Alternative Qualifications for Non-Science Subjects:

  • Completed a two-year vocational course with non-vocational subjects such as Physics and Mathematics.
  • Minimum 50% aggregate marks and 50% marks in English. If English was not a subject in the vocational course, this requirement applies to the intermediate or matriculation level.

Medical Standards:

  • Minimum height of 152.5 cm.
  • Minimum chest expansion of 5 cm.

Age Limit: Candidates born between July 3, 2004, and January 3, 2008 (both dates inclusive) are eligible to apply. The upper age limit is 21 years at the time of enrollment, provided candidates clear all stages of the selection process.
