CRPF Recruitment 2021: The Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) has invited applications for recruitment to the post of Assistant Commandant (Civil/Engineer). The application process for these posts is going on from June 30, 2021. Candidates should note that the last date to apply for the posts of CRPF Assistant Commandant is 29 July 2021. Eligible candidates will be selected through an open examination and the recruitment scheme prepared by the Ministry of Home Affairs.

The recruitment drive is being conducted to fill 25 vacancies for the post of Assistant Commandant (Civil/Engineer) Recruitment 2021. The recruitment process will consist of several stages including Physical Standard Test (PST) and Physical Efficiency Test (PET) written test, document verification followed by a detailed medical exam (DME), and interview.

Stage 1- PST/PET will consist of 100 meters run, 800 meters followed by a long jump and shot put. During PET/PST applicants will have to produce a caste/category certificate (if applicable), education certificate, age proof, and other required documents. 

Candidates who clear the PST/PET examination will be issued admit cards for the written test. The written examination will consist of two papers comprising a total of 400 marks. Paper 1 will consist of objective-type questions from General Awareness, Reasoning, Numerical Ability, General English, and Engineering Aptitude. The exam will comprise 100 marks and the duration of the exam will be 2 hours. One-third of the total marks will be deducted for each wrong attempt.

Paper 2 of the CRPF written exam will have subjective questions from Civil Engineering. Candidates who secure minimum cut-off marks in CRPF Assistant Commandant Written Examination will be further called for Documentation Verification, Medical Test, and Personal Interview. The final merit list will be prepared by combining the marks of the written test and interview.
