BPSC CDPO Exam 2021: Child Development Project Officer Preliminary Examination 2021 Postponed

The Bihar Public Service Commission has postponed the Child Development Project Officer Preliminary Examination and several other recruitment examinations due to the Bihar panchayat elections.

New Delhi: The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has postponed the preliminary phase examination of Child Development Project Officer (CDPO). According to a statement issued by the commission, the new date of examination will be announced later.

BPSC CDPO preliminary examination was scheduled for October 31, 2021. However, the Commission postponed the examination in view of the Bihar Panchayat elections to be held around that time.

Candidates are advised to regularly visit the official portal for the latest updates. The examination will be conducted for recruitment to 55 vacant posts of Child Development Project Officer in the state Social Welfare Department. The candidates will be selected based on the preliminary examination, followed by the main examination and personality test/interview round.

Several Other Recruitment Exams Cancelled

The Commission has also postponed several other examinations due to the first phase of the Panchayat elections scheduled for September 24. The Commission postponed the Assistant Engineer Examination as well, which was scheduled for September 24, 25, 27 and 28. The Commission has informed the candidates that the new exam dates will be announced later.

After the announcement of the new exam dates, candidates will have to download the admit card from the commission's website. BPSC has said that admit cards will not be sent to candidates through posts.
