JKCET 2023: Applications For Engineering Begin At jkbopee.gov.in - Know How To Apply And Other Details

Interested candidates can apply for JKCET 2023 (Engineering) on the official website jkbopee.gov.in, till April 24, 2023.

The Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examination (JKBOPEE) has started inviting applications for the JKCET 2023 (Jammu and Kashmir Common Entrance Test 2023) admissions into undergraduate engineering programmes. Interested and eligible candidates can submit their JKCET 2023 Applications on the official website - jkbopee.gov.in. The last date to apply for JKCET 2023 is April 24, 2023. 

JKCET 2023: Application Fee

While applying for the JKCET 2023, candidates will be required to pay an application fee of Rs 1,000. Candidates who have completed their class 12th from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics with at least 45% aggregate marks can apply for the JKCET 2023 (Engineering). There is no upper age limit for applying for the JKCET 2023. 

As of now, the application window is live on the official website, and the JKBOPEE is likely to announce the JKCET 2023 Exam Dates soon.

JKCET 2023: Scheme of Examination

The JKCET 2023 Exam for Engineering will be conducted in the offline mode. The exam paper will have a total of 180 questions spread across three sections: Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Each of these sections would consist of 60 questions. 

The maximum time allotted for the examination would be three hours in which candidates will be required to indicate their responses in the OMR sheet. There will also be a negative marking of 0.25 mark per every incorrect response. JKCET 2023: How To Apply?

  • Visit the official website - jkbopee.gov.in
  • On the homepage, click on the ‘Common Entrance Test (Engineering)’ link under the ‘Exam’ section
  • In the new page that opens, click on the link to JKCET 2023 (Engineering) Application
  • In the new pop-up window that opens, read the instructions carefully, check the acknowledgement box, and click on apply
  • Fill in the application form with all required details
  • Upload relevant documents and pay the application fee online
  • Submit the application form
