JEE Main 2025 Registration Begins On jeemain.nta.nic.in, Check Complete Schedule & Steps To Apply

JEE Main 2025 Registration: Interested candidates can fill the application form on the official website at jeemain.nta.nic.in.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2025 schedule. The January session of JEE Main 2025 is tentatively set to take place from January 22 to January 31, 2025. Registration for the January session began on October 28, 2024, and will remain open until November 22, 2024. Candidates can check the complete schedule for JEE Main 2025 on the official website – jeemain.nta.nic.in.

JEE (Main) comprises of two papers. Paper 1 (B.E./B. Tech.) is conducted for admission to Undergraduate Engineering Programs (B.E/B. Tech) at NITs, IIITs, other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs), Institutions/Universities funded/recognized by participating State Governments. It is also an eligibility test for JEE (Advanced), which is conducted for admission to IITs. Paper 2 of JEE (Main) is conducted for admission to B. Arch and B. Planning courses in the Country.

JEE Main 2025 Session 1: Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for JEE Main 2025, candidates must have either completed or be currently enrolled in their Class 12 examination, with Physics, Mathematics, and one additional subject (such as Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, or a Technical Vocational subject) as part of their curriculum.

Students in the General category need to secure at least 75% in their Class 12 exams, while SC/ST candidates may be eligible with a minimum of around 65%. However, specific requirements may vary by institution. Candidates are allowed up to three consecutive attempts for JEE Main, with no upper age limit.

  • Visit the official website at jeemain.nta.nic.in.
  • On the homepage, click on 'Online Application Form for JEE (Main) – 2025 Session-1'.
  • Now click on 'Link to the Online Registration Form for the JEE (Main) – 2025 Session-1'.
  • Click on 'New Registration'.
  • Enter the required details in the application form.
  • Upload the documents and pay the application fee.
  • Submit the form and download the confirmation page.
