JEE Main 2024 Session 2: Check Exam Day Guidelines And Dress Code

The National Testing Agency will conduct the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main) 2024 session 2 exams from April 4 to April 12. JEE Main 2024 Admit Card for April 4, 5, 6 exams released on the official website at jeemain.nta.ac.in. Students can download their hall ticket by using registration number and date of birth. JEE Main 2024 Session 2 Exam will be conducted in two shifts each day- shift 1 will be held from 9 am to 12 pm, whereas shift 2 will be conducted from 3 pm to 6 pm. As per the guidelines, students must carry their JEE Main admit card and government-issued valid ID proof to the JEE exam centre.

JEE Main 2024 Exam Day Guidelines

Here are the exam day guidelines for JEE Main 2024 session 2 exam:

• Arrive at the test center at least 30 minutes before the reporting time specified in the admit card.
• Candidates who arrive after the entry time will not be allowed to take the exam.
• Admit card, a recent photograph, and a valid photo ID proof are mandatory for appearing in the JEE Main exam. 
• Prohibited items such as mobile phones, study materials, electronic devices, or any unauthorised items are strictly not allowed in the JEE Main 2024 exam centre.
• Diabetic students are allowed to bring eatables like sugar tablets, fruits, and transparent water bottles to the test center. However, packed foods like chocolates, candy, sandwiches, etc., are not permitted.

JEE Main 2024 Exam Dress Code

• Avoid clothing with metallic items to ease the frisking procedure. This includes items such as metal buttons, zippers, studs, etc.
• Caps, mufflers, or any form of headgear are prohibited during the exam.
• Strictly refrain from wearing any jewellery or ornaments. This includes rings, bracelets, earrings, necklaces, etc.
• Prohibited accessories also include goggles or any other similar items that may interfere with the examination process.
