JEE Main 2024 Session 1 Registration Begins On jeemain.nta.ac.in, Check Notice Here

The National Testing Agency has started the online registration process for JEE Main January 2024.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has started the application process for the JEE Main 2024 session 1. To access the notification and complete the application form, candidates can visit the official website at jeemain.nta.ac.in. The deadline for application submission is November 30. The JEE Main 2024 session 1 examination is scheduled to take place from January 24 to February 1. Session 2 of JEE Main 2024 is planned for April 1 to April 15, 2024. In addition to the application forms, NTA has made available the information bulletin and the exam syllabus for candidates' reference.

JEE Main 2024 Eligibility

For JEE Main 2024, the eligibility criteria are as follows:

  1. Age Limit: There is no specific age limit for candidates appearing for the JEE Main 2024 examination.

  2. Educational Qualification: Candidates who have either passed their Class 12th equivalent examination in the years 2022 or 2023, or those who are currently enrolled and appearing for the Class 12th equivalent examination in 2024, are eligible to appear for the JEE Main 2024 examination.

To register for JEE Main 2024, follow these steps:

  • Visit the official JEE Main website at jeemain.nta.nic.in.
  • Register by providing your name, mobile number, and email address.
  • Complete the JEE Main 2024 registration form by entering your personal and educational details.
  • Upload scanned images of your passport-size photograph and signature as per the specified guidelines.
  • Pay the JEE Main application fees through the provided payment options.
  • Once your registration is successful, download the confirmation page for future reference.

JEE Main 2024 serves as the gateway to admission into various prestigious institutions, including the National Institutes of Technology (NITs), Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs), centrally funded technical institutions (CFTIs), and institutions recognized by participating state governments. It is also a crucial eligibility test for JEE Advanced 2024, which is conducted for admission to the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs).

The JEE Main 2024 examination is divided into two papers:

  1. Paper 1: This paper is designed for admission to undergraduate engineering programs.
  2. Paper 2: This paper is intended for admission to Bachelors in Architecture and Bachelor in Planning programs.

The examination is offered in a total of 13 languages to accommodate a wide range of candidates. These languages include English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu.
