''It has been observed that the Photograph uploaded by few candidate for Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main) – 2024 has not been found as per the required specifications, therefore, it has been decided to give an opportunity to candidates to upload the Photograph as per required specifications to avoid rejection of application by opening the window to change their actual recent photograph on their respective online application forms as per schedule,'' the official notice reads.

The JEE Main correction window is an opportunity for candidates to rectify various issues related to their submitted images, including:

  3. Inappropriate Background: Images with backgrounds that don't conform to the specified standards can be corrected by uploading a new image with an appropriate background.

  4. Red Eye due to Spectacles: Sometimes, the use of spectacles may cause a red-eye effect in the photograph. Candidates can replace such images with ones where the eyes are clearly visible without any distortion.
