JEE Main 2023: Session 2 Registration Process Delayed - Check Details Here

Registrations for JEE Main 2023 Session 2 were scheduled to start on February 7. However, the NTA is yet to open the registration window.

The National Testing Agency has delayed the online registration process for the JEE Main 2023 Session 2 exam. As per the original schedule announced earlier by the NTA, the JEE Main 2023 Session 2 registrations were scheduled to begin from February 7, and close on March 7. However the National testing Agency is yet to open the application window. 

Despite the delay, the NTA is expected to open the JEE Main 2023 Session 2 Registration window soon following which, candidates will be able to submit their registration cum application forms for the JEE Main 2023 Session 2 exam. The online application window will be hosted at jeemain.nta.nic.in.

While applying for the JEE Main 2023 Session 2 exam, candidates will be first required to register on the portal, fill in the application form, upload required documents, and pay the application fee online.

Notably, the JEE Main 2023 Session 2 exam is scheduled to be held on April 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, and 12. The exam will be conducted in the CBT (Computer Based Test) mode. Candidates who qualify the exam will be eligible for the JEE Advanced 2023 Exam. The JEE Advanced 2023 Exam for Paper 1 and Paper 2 will be conducted in two shifts on June 4, 2023.

Earlier, the National testing Agency announced the results for JEE Main 2023 Session 1 exam. A total of 8.22 candidates appeared for one of the most sought-after entrance exams in India. Candidates who have qualified in the JEE Main Paper 1 Exam 2023 are eligible to take admissions into undergraduate engineering programmes offered by various NITs, GFTIs and other participating institutes.

JEE Main 2023 Session 2: How To Apply?

Once the JEE Main 2023 Registration Window for Session 2 opens, candidates will be able to register themselves following the below-given steps:

  • Visit the official NTA JEE website - jeemain.nta.nic.in
  • On the homepage, click on “JEE (Main) Session 2 Application”
  • In the new page, click on the link again that reads “JEE (Main) Session 2 Application”
  • In the new window that opens, click on “New Registration”
  • Read the instructions carefully, check the acknowledgement box at the bottom of the page and then click on ‘click here to proceed’
  • Submit the registration form, select your preferred password, fill in the captcha and then click on ‘submit’
  • Login to the portal again using your login credentials: generated Application ID and your Password
  • Fill the application form completely
  • Upload relevant documents, photo, and signature
  • Pay the application fee online and submit the application
  • Download and save the confirmation page for reference
