JEE Advanced 2020: Answer Keys To Be Out Soon, Counselling Expected To Start By October 6

The answer keys for JEE Advanced 2020 is likely to be out soon. Earlier the question papers for the exams were released.

JEE Advanced 2020: The National Testing Agency will release the JEE Advanced answer keys soon, the exam which was held on September 27th, 2020, saw 96 percent attendance amid the ongoing pandemic. The results, as per schedule will come out on October 5th, and counselling is expected to on October 6th. Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi (IIT-Delhi) will release the answer keys for the JEE Advanced 2020 exam conducted on 27 September 2020. This answer key will be released on the official website jeeadv.ac.in. According to the schedule, answer keys were to be released on 29th September but it has not been released yet. IIT Delhi will first issue the provisional answer key and after that, the final answer will be released. The tentative answer key will be released for Paper 1 and Paper 2. Along with the answer keys, the responses of the candidates who have appeared for both Paper 1 and Paper 2, recorded during the exam, will be available for them to view, download and print from the JEE Advanced 2020 candidate portal. According to the news report, candidates have expressed that Physics was the most difficult portion, followed by mathematics which was moderate, and Chemistry which was easy. Almost all of the questions, the candidates expressed was from within the syllabus. According to the schedule available, JEE Advanced 2020 results are expected to be announced on October 5, 2020. The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) will begin the counselling to IITs, NITs, IIITs and other GFTIs would then begin from October 6, 2020. Classes in various IITs and NITs are expected to begin from November 18, 2020. Candidates must be aware that qualifying the JEE Advanced 2020 and participating in the joint seat allocation process will not guarantee a candidate to get admission into the IITs. The admission will depend on the availability of seats during each round of seat allocation.
