JEE Advanced 2022: Registrations Close Today, Know How To Apply

JEE Advanced 2022 Registrations: Candidates can apply on the official website – jeeadv.ac.in. The application fee for the general category students is Rs 2,800 and for the reserved category is Rs 1, 400.

New Delhi: The application process for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced 2022 will close today, August 11. Interested candidates have only a few hours to apply on the website – jeeadv.ac.in. The official notification says that the JEE Advanced application process will end at 5 pm today. To begin the application process candidates will have to sign in using a user ID and password through which they can access an application form. 

The application fee for the general category students is Rs 2,800 and for the reserved category is Rs 1,400, last day to pay the application fee is Friday, August 12. 

According to the notice, the candidates will need to upload several documents including PwD Certificate, Scribe Request Letter, if required, and a gazette notification showing the change of name, for students whose names are not the same as their Class 10 or Birth Certificate.

How to apply for the JEE Advanced 2022:

  • Visit the official website- jeeadv.ac.in 
  • Sign in using the user id and password.
  • Complete the registration process by filling in the required details.
  • Upload the necessary documents. 
  • Pay the non-refundable application fee and then submit the application form.
  • Download and take printouts of the confirmation page for future references.

The exam will be held on August 28. Paper 1 will be held from 9 am to 12 noon and paper 2 will be held from 2:30 pm to 5:50 pm.

The question paper will be in both Hindi and English, and candidates will have the option to switch languages during the paper. 

“The question papers will be in both English and Hindi languages. The candidates will have the option to choose (and also switch between) the preferred language anytime during the examination. English version will prevail in the event of any difference of opinion", the notice read.
