Indian Navy Recruitment 2018: The online application process is scheduled to begin on joinindiannavy.gov.in.

Indian Navy Recruitment 2018: Indian Navy has declared a large number of vacancies for the recruitment of Sailors at different levels for courses commencing in 2019 on the official website joinindiannavy.gov.in. In a mega Indian Navy Recruitment 2018 drive, a total of 3400 jobs are up for grabs, out of which 2500 vacancies are for Senior Secondary Recruit (SSR) and 500 for Artificer Apprentice (AA) for course commencing August 2019 and 400 for Matric Recruit (MR) for course commencing in October 2019. Online applications are invited by Indian Navy from  unmarried male candidates, those fulfilling the terms and conditions of eligibility as established by the Government of India for enrolment as Sailors in the defence services. The online application process is scheduled to begin on joinindiannavy.gov.in on 14th December 2018 and interested candidates must apply on or before 30th December 2018.

Indian Navy Recruitment 2018: Eligibility Criteria

Senior Secondary Recruit (SSR) – The applicant must have passed Class 12th with subjects of Maths & Physics and at least one of these subjects:- Chemistry, Biology, Computer Science from an education board recognized by MHRD, Government of India. Artificer Apprentice (AA) – The applicant must have passed Class 12th with minimum 60% or more marks in aggregate with Maths & Physics and at least one of these subjects:-Chemistry, Biology, Computer Science from an education board recognized by MHRD, Government of India. Matric Recruit (MR) – The applicant must have passed matriculation examination from an education board recognized by MHRD, Government of India.

Indian Navy Recruitment 2018: Selection Process

Candidates will be selected on the basis of a merit list prepared from their performance in Computer-based examination, and will be subject to qualifying in Physical Fitness Test (PFT) and  Medical Examinations.
