IIT Patna Placements 2023: 13 Students Bag Salary Package Over Rs 50 Lakh

IIT Patna Placements 2023: Thirteen students secured a salary package exceeding Rs 50 lakh.

In its 12th round of campus placements, the Indian Institute of Technology Patna has achieved a record with a total of 413 job offers extended to the batch of 2023. Around 162 national and international companies participated in the placement process. This placement season witnessed an encouraging international interest, highlighted by prominent names such as Accenture Japan, Rakuten Japan, and Denso Corporation. The trio of international recruiters contributed to 23 job offers on a global scale, marking a notable 130% increase from the previous year.

For BTech students, the average annual package stood at 23.09 lakh rupees, with the highest offer of 82.05 lakh rupees per annum. MTech students secured an average of 17.50 lakh rupees per annum, with the highest package reaching 46.38 lakh rupees. Among the 413 offers, 13 exceeded 50 lakhs, 30 surpassed 40 lakhs, and 95 went beyond 30 lakhs in terms of pay package.

Ashwini Assam, professor-in-charge, Training and Placement Cell, IIT Patna said, “ The excellent placements are a testimony to the robust academic environment, industry-oriented research and our pragmatic approach towards innovation. We are nurturing students as per the demanding trends of the industry and inculcating a culture of leadership and critical thinking.”

IIT Patna witnessed the participation of over 40 new companies, including names like John Deere, Aromatic, Jevis, Earthmate, Navi, Hubbler, Legato, Jungle Games, and PI Industries, in its inaugural campus recruitment drive.

The recruited students were selected for a diverse array of job roles, such as software engineer, hardware engineer, application engineer, product engineer, data scientist, digital consultant, infrastructure manager, analyst, machine learning engineer, digital engineer, decision analyst, consulting management trainee, as well as positions like Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET) and Postgraduate Engineer Trainee (PGET).

The top recruiters for the 12th campus placement include Google, Oracle, Sprinklr, Atlassian, Media.net, Aarti Industries, Samsung, Texas Instrument, Adobe, Jaguar Land Rover, EXL, etc.
