IIT Patna Launches AI And Emerging Tech Courses To Boost Job Readiness  

IIT Patna has launched new courses in AI, UX Design, and Global Business Strategies to prepare students and professionals for emerging technologies and industry needs.

Patna: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Patna, has introduced a new set of courses that aim to prepare students and professionals for careers in Artificial Intelligence (AI), UX Design, and Global Business Strategies. The programmes aim to keep pace with the growing demand for digital skills as they focus on emerging technologies and practical applications, aligning with the needs of industries worldwide.

These courses have been developed in collaboration with Oneros Tech and KiwiTech. In a social media post, Oneros Tech wrote: "Through this collaboration, we aim to empower working professionals and aspiring entrepreneurs with future-ready skills and industry-leading expertise to help them stay ahead in a world that’s changing at the speed of AI."

The highlight of the launch is a five-month course on Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs), designed for developers, data scientists, and business leaders. The course covers topics like AI model deployment, customisation of language models, and AI-driven automation, offering participants hands-on experience with real-world applications.

IIT Patna has also introduced courses aimed at broadening career prospects for students and working professionals across multiple domains:  

UX Design for Beginners: Aimed at aspiring designers, developers, and product managers looking to master UX principles, this programme covers UX design fundamentals like typography, colour theory, and usability principles, to hands-on UX projects such as mobile apps, web platforms, and software interfaces, with industry insights from leading design innovators and  experts.

Global Professional Edge: This course helps students and professionals prepare for international roles, on-site assignments, and leadership positions in international businesses, focusing on cultural intelligence, networking, and navigating the global job market.  

Go-To-Market (GTM) & Product Marketing: Designed for product managers, marketing professionals, and business strategists looking to drive growth, this 5-month weekend course gives hands-on training in marketing strategies and data-driven product positioning, among other things.
