IIT JAM 2024: Application Correction To Begin November 24 - Check Details

Candidates will be required to pay a correction fee of Rs 300 to make changes to their JAM 2024 Applications.

The Indian Institute of Technology, Madras (IIT Madras) will start the application correction process for the IIT JAM (Joint Admission Test for Masters) on November 24, 2023. Candidates who have registered for the examination will be able to edit/ make changes to their submitted applications online on the official website -  jam.iitm.ac.in, once the application correction facility begins. Registered candidates will be able to change their examination city,  test papers, category, and gender through the application correction facility. However, candidates may note that they will be required to pay a correction fee of Rs 300 to make changes to their applications. 

As per the official schedule, the IIT Madras will conduct the JAM 2024 Exam on February 11, 2024. The exam will be conducted in two shifts: from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm and from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm. The IIT Madras will release the JAM 2024 Admit Cards on January 8, 2023, after which candidates will be able to download their exam hall tickets by logging into the official website. Earlier, the JAM 2024 organising institute, IIT Madras closed the registration window for the exam on October 30, 2023.

Notably, the JAM (Joint Admission Test for Masters) is a national-level entrance exam conducted by the IITs every year to shortlist suitable candidates for admissions into M.Sc., M.Sc. (Tech.), MS (Research), M.Sc. - M. Tech Dual Degree, Joint M.Sc. - Ph.D., and M.Sc. - Ph.D. Dual Degree offered by the IITs. There will be around 3,000 postgraduate seats on offer for suitable candidates through the JAM 2024 Exam. The JAM 2024 Exam will be conducted for a total of seven papers and candidates were allowed to opt for a maximum of two papers while registering for the exam.
