The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi will start the registration for the Joint Admission Test for Masters (JAM) 2025 on September 3. Interested and eligible candidates can apply through the official website at jam2025.iitd.ac.in. The last date for registration is October 11. The IIT JAM 2025 exam is scheduled for February 2, 2025, and will be conducted in a computer-based test (CBT) format. The exam will cover seven subjects: Biotechnology, Chemistry, Economics, Geology, Mathematical Statistics, Mathematics, and Physics. It will be held across around 100 cities in India.
Candidates must complete the registration process by October 11, 2024, and pay the required application fee. For female candidates and those belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) categories, the fee is Rs 900 for one paper and Rs 1,250 for two papers. Candidates from other categories will need to pay Rs 1,800 for one paper and Rs 2,500 for two papers.
The deadline to make changes to examination cities, test papers, category, or gender for IIT JAM 2025 is November 30, 2024. The admit card for the exam will be released in early January 2025.
JAM 2025 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates who have completed their undergraduate degree or are in the final year of their undergraduate studies are eligible to apply for the JAM 2025 exam. There is no age limit for applicants. Additionally, foreign nationals holding an Indian degree are also eligible to apply, subject to the policies of the admitting institute.

- Create an account by entering your name, email, and mobile number, and set a password.
- Receive your enrollment ID and OTP via email and SMS.
- Fill out the online form.
- Upload your photo, signature, and required documents (OBC-NCL/EWS/SC/ST/PwD certificates and Date of Birth proof).
- Make the payment through any electronic method.
- Monitor the status at each stage: received, under scrutiny, accepted, defect notice, rectification, rejection, and admit card availability.
